Arabella's Wild Adventure at Woburn Safari Park

Arabella's Wild Adventure at Woburn Safari Park

Arabella had an unforgettable, rhythm-filled adventure at Woburn Safari Park, where she experienced the thrill of seeing incredible animals up close! Her day kicked off with a rhythmic safari drive, as the hum of the car's engine and the crunch of gravel under the wheels set a steady beat. Arabella’s heart raced in sync with the sights, from lions lounging in the sun to giraffes moving gracefully with a steady, swaying rhythm. Zebras grazed peacefully, each flick of their tails adding a quiet, soft cadence to the atmospher

One of the day’s highlights was hearing the playful monkeys create a lively soundtrack of chattering and squeals, echoing through the trees like a playful tune. Arabella even had a cheeky surprise when a curious monkey hopped onto the car, tapping lightly on the roof as if joining in with her safari beat. She loved watching them swing from branch to branch, their movements creating a rhythm all their own.

After the safari drive, Arabella explored the Foot Safari, where she walked among lemurs, their quick, rhythmic hopping adding to the day’s musical backdrop. She also delighted in the meerkats, who stood on alert, almost like our little pre-school conductors keeping time with their swift turns and attentive stances. In the adventure playground, she found chime bars and drums, where she joyfully created her own jungle-inspired rhythms, filling the air with the sounds of laughter and music alongside other children

Arabella also took time to practice British Sign Language for animals, like we do at Rhythm Time, signing the names of the creatures she met, like lemurs, monkeys, and penguins. Each sign felt like a new beat in her adventure’s rhythm, making her safari day even more memorable.

The excitement reached a crescendo at the Sea Lion Cove, where Arabella watched an amazing show. The sea lions splashed in time with the music, performing tricks that made her cheer in rhythm with the crowd’s applause.

As the day wound down, she took a ride on the Safari Train, with its soft, chugging rhythm carrying her through the park’s beautiful landscapes for a final encore. The rhythmic beat of the train and the memory of the day’s sounds and sights left her thrilled to share every detail with her friends at Rhythm Time.
