Arabella's Adventure at Castle Ashby and Gardens

Arabella's Adventure at Castle Ashby and Gardens From the moment she arrived, Arabella was captivated by the symphony of sounds around her—the cheerful chirping of birds, the soft rustling of leaves in the breeze, and the gentle hum of nature. She wandered through the lush gardens, admiring vibrant blooms and carefully sculpted hedges, pausing often in the serene Italian Gardens, where the soft trickle of water from a nearby fountain added to the peaceful ambiance. Her excitement bubbled over as she explored, expressing her delight in true Rhythm Time style. She pointed out the trees, flowers, and animals she discovered, eagerly sharing her wonder with her family. The children’s play area brought even more joy, as Arabella climbed, slid, and made new friends, her laughter echoing through the space. Arabella's Fascinating History Lesson at Bletchley Park

Arabella's Fascinating History Lesson at Bletchley Park Arabella has been diving into some amazing history this week with a visit to Bletchley Park, the once top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers. She learned all about the busy and noisy working environments where so much important work took place, but she also enjoyed a relaxing break outside, soaking up the sunshine in the beautiful gardens where many talented people had walked before. Arabella’s favourite activity was learning Morse code—a system of communication that uses combinations of short and long tones to represent the letters of the alphabet. Her tutor mentioned that those who could hear and feel the beat and pulse, just like we do in our Rhythm Time classes, were able to learn Morse code more quickly. It was such a fantastic day!

Arabella's Exciting Camping Adventure

Image
Arabella's Exciting Camping Adventure How exciting! Arabella has been camping at New Barn Farm in Bedfordshire, and she’s had so much fun listening to and imitating the animals—the pigs, horses, and chickens. Oink, neigh, cluck cluck! Can you say these sounds, boys and girls? Don’t forget to use the British Sign Language we learned in our classes too! In the mornings, Arabella enjoyed the sweet songs of the birds, and in the evenings, she loved toasting marshmallows while listening to the crackle, crackle of the campfire. What an amazing adventure she’s had!
