  Today, Arabella saw her friends, Rat-a-Tat and the puppet pals! These delightful puppets have a special way of capturing the hearts of toddlers, who attribute them with human traits and see them as their best friends. That’s why there’s so much excitement in the air whenever they appear! Playing with Rat-a-Tat sparks Arabella's imagination, transporting her to a world of fun and creativity. As she interacts with the puppets, her conversational skills blossom, allowing her to practice expressing her thoughts and feelings. Singing along with Rat-a-Tat also boosts her confidence and musicality, making each session a joyful adventure filled with laughter and learning. With every encounter, Arabella is not just having fun—she’s developing essential skills that will stay with her as she grows!

  Today, Arabella had a fantastic time exploring rhythm patterns! Engaging with these rhythms helps build her confidence, as she learns to express herself through sound. As she claps and taps along, her listening skills and concentration sharpen, allowing her to connect deeply with the music. Working with rhythm patterns also supports her inner ear development and memory, helping her recognize and recall different beats. Through turn-taking and echoing exercises, Arabella learns how to respond and interact with others, enhancing her social skills. Understanding various patterns within different time signatures prepares her for future musical endeavours. When she eventually goes to school, Arabella will be ready for instrument lessons. Many tutors give simple ear tests to see if children can clap back patterns, sing in time, and recognize pitches.   Everyone had such a fun time dancing with Arabella today! Dancing is great for your baby’s development, as it helps improve their balance, spatial awareness, and eye tracking—all of which are crucial for their overall functioning. Arabella loved moving to the beat, twirling around, and watching how her friends enjoyed the rhythm just as much as she did.

  Arabella’s Adventures at Pennywell Farm What an incredible day Arabella had at Pennywell Farm! Joined by her special friend from Humpty Dumpty Kingsteignton (part of The Old Station Nursery group), the adventure was truly unforgettable. Arabella loved hearing the sheep bleat and the pigs grunt, and she joined in by making the sounds herself—both with her voice and using the BSL signs she learned in class. It was so exciting to see her putting her skills into action! The fun didn’t stop there—Arabella had a blast climbing up the haystack and hiding in it too. Laughter filled the air as she explored every nook and cranny. What a fantastic adventure! Pennywell Farm has certainly left Arabella with memories to treasure.  🌾🐷✨
